Today we are deploying our new scheduler for the progression system as well as fixing the flashcard heatmap and issues with the kana quizzes. System

Flashcard Heatmap

• The flashcard heatmap is now working as intended.If you hover over the individual squares, you can see how many cards you have reviewed or how many cards you will have to review on any given date. The strength of the colors indicates the amount of reviews on any given day.

If there are any changes or additions you would like to the heatmap, please let us know on our feedback page.

Kana Quizzes & Tests

• Updated the kana quizzes and tests to accept much more answers for some of the kana. If you enter a combination that isn't accepted but you believe it should be, please report it on our bug page.

Progression System

• Rewrote the scheduler for the progression system so that users consistently get their new units and so that streaks are properly preserved.

Content

• Made several updates to the explanations and fixed some typos in the kana tool.
• Fixed missing highlighting on 買い物 vocab flashcard.
• Fixed missing highlighting on 曇る vocab flashcard.
• Added a note to give context to the example sentence on the 毎回 vocab flashcard.
• Fixed a typo in "How to say 'Please call the police [an ambulance, etc.]'" lesson
• Fixed a typo in 林 kanji flashcard.
• Fixed highlighting in 冬 vocab flashcard.
• Fixed weird furigana formatting on 王 kanji flashcard.
• Changed an explanation in a Writer's Note at the end of "Making one-word sentences" lesson to clear confusion about when to memorize certain words being presented.
