August 24, 2020 - Patch Notes

Hi everyone :shark_wave:

Today we have a lot of content fixes for you! On the development side, things are going smoothly with the audio rewrite and we can't wait to get that out to everyone (especially since it'll close a lot of bug reports ๐Ÿ˜‰)

System

General

  • Account deletion is now working as intended - we appreciate everyone's patience while we resolved the issues.Streaks
  • Attempted to normalize all streaks across the site. If your streak is still wrong, reach out to support and we will manually adjust the remaining ones to be correct.
  • Updated the code which increments user streaks to attempt to resolve issues where streaks would not change overnight.

Note that streaks will only change once every 24 hours, so if you change your reset time to be earlier than it normally is, your streak will lag a day behind.Progression

  • Fixed an issue in Unit 79 where users were getting stuck while learning vocabulary. This was caused by a duplicate flashcard being added that already appeared earlier in the system. As a result of this fix, any users past that unit will receive a new vocabulary flashcard that they must do to advance.
