Hello everyone, it's been awhile but we're back to working on the student site!

Since the end of December we've been primarily focusing on unlocking the content pipelines so that new content could come out regularly.

We've got that mostly sorted and new content is once again flowing. We still have some work to do on the content management side every now and then but we're primarily focused on getting the current NativShark experience to be fully stable and smooth.

We're also working on a couple quality of life updates.

Bug Fixes

General

• Fixed some links on the size that did not allow you to open them in a new tab
• Changed "Days Active" to say "Days Studied" and removed the denominator
• Changed the component that was being used for pagination so that it behaves as expected, even when there are a lot of pages

Assigning Units

• Rewrote the logic behind figuring out which units users should be receiving and when they should be receiving them, resulting in a 99% decrease in the amount of time it took to do its job

Audio Issues

• Deployed more code attempting to fix issues with audio not working in various situations (mostly on Firefox). Please continue to report these issues as they come up!

Dialogues

• Fixed an issue where furigana in dialogue notes would not render correctly

Learning Experience

• Sentences will no-longer be shoved to the top of the card during the review section of the learning experience

Lessons

• Fixed an issue where the size of furigana in headers was much smaller than it should have been

Multifactor Authentication

• You can now disable MFA in your settings

Settings

• Removed various settings that did nothing in the system to reduce confusion

Subscription Settings

• Fixed an issue where the badges showing the file size for the founder downloads was not visible on dark mode
