Yes. NativShark is designed to be the only study-focused resource you need to reach a high level of Japanese proficiency. Instead of spending more time in learning-focused resources, we recommend spending the extra time enjoying a manga, show, or video game in Japanese instead! Yes. Being able to pass various levels of the JLPT tests is a byproduct of becoming proficient in Japanese, and our primary goal is to get you proficient. You'll also have a much deeper understanding and functionality of Japanese compared to an average learner who may be near a similar JLPT level as you, since this test only measures a very specific (and unnatural to use in everyday life) portion of the Japanese language.See our guide on how to study for the JLPT while using NativShark.

We recommend starting at the beginning of NativShark and archiving things you're familiar with. Many students have found that starting from the beginning has been extremely beneficial to them in solidifying their foundation so they can understand and use everyday Japanese.More info here.
NativShark is free to start with no payment information required. You can subscribe and unsubscribe whenever you like, and you can even review flashcards of what you've learned so far without an active subscription.
NativShark is a web app that works on desktop and mobile browsers. We do not currently have a iOS or Android app, but we do have plans for one.You can add NativShark to your home page though. See this article for how to do so.
